Stepping off the plane, first week in June, after an empty BA 11 hour flight from Heathrow I was glad to have finally arrived. A few weeks before, my Thailand trip seemed to be slipping from my grasp due to the political unrest causing travel warnings and BA planning strikes on the day I had booked to fly.
Arriving at a friends apartment, I attempted to get some sleep before my first day of my internship at DWP. Before falling asleep I had to photograph the view from the balcony as a thunder storm hit (Photos above). This was one view I definitely missed when I moved in to my own apartment which was a bit of a downgrade.
